    Hello guys,

this is my 2nd mod on bit-tech.

this time i am modding a broken Xbox360 case to hold a m-itx motherboard/full PC

as i go building it i will upload more photo's of the case,.

    things you need/i used
    A ssf psu
    a mitx motherboard+CPU
    2.5" HDD
    a xbox 360
a xbox 360 HDD case (if you dont have one)
    a laptop dvd drive (optional)
power-button/letds (recycleble from a old case)
    a 3d printer (optional) for parts/others.
    -------
since i used a old mitx PC i had all this in the case (except for the xbox 360)

(for easier reading i did post the 1st 4 post for the build log [sorry for tripple posting])

    greetings darknessblade

*looked at some other FAILED casemod atempts to get a pc inside a xbox case, most of them needed a lot of cutting to do, reforming the entire case.*

my project features a bare minimum of cutting the case, keeping the full original design.
(as you can see in my pictures, i only need to do a bare minimum of cutting)

    ---------------------------------------------------
step 1, get your xbox 360 (FAT)
if you have a xbox and its broken take it completely apart.

keep the fans, for the rest clean out the entire casing.

    step 2
    get your mini-PC.
find a mitx PC with a ssf PSU.

    step 3.

fit all the parts in the case to look if you have to do some cutting.

    step 4
design a motherboard spacer for the mitx motherboard.

    step 5
    3D print the motherboard tray/riser
    [IMG]

    step 6
mount the spacer/tray to the MB:

    step 7
design the power-shield, to fit in the leds/buttons
also use a motherboard/psu spacer if necicary to prevent static overflow.

My first mod was an xbox 360 conversion, looking forward to see your take on it as there are a lot of areas I would have changed my plans

    *updated*

    added pictures.

    future plans:
adding gameport (located in the memor-card location)
cutting away the parts that are to small.
    adding a sff dvd-drive (have a ide-version)
HDD (located in the place of the hdd spot of the original xbox, [did not have a xbox HDD]
    )
