hello there i just decided to try the latest nvidia drivers i usually use the 44:03's and get the below score after putting the newest (53:03) and i just ran 3d mark and got 12742 i only did it coz i downloaded the far cry demo before it was pretty jerky but its pretty good now but my 3dmarks have dropped i know many people dont think its important what do you guys think if you know of a better driver (only used that one to play unreal 2) let me know thanks for your time.
I don't have an NVidia card, but I think regardless of which manufacturer's card you have, the answer is the same. Benchmarks mean diddly-squat. What's important is how your games perform, because that is real world data. If the far cry demo is more playable with the slower benchmarking drivers, then I say use the drivers that run the game more smoothly.
