When trying to install any catalyst drivers especially the latest omega ones regular or beta why is it during installation after selecting express or custom it does not pick up the AMD driver for installation & it does not do the black screen flicker thing during installation is there a reason for this because I would like to understand & know why this happens as more often then not it causes the drivers to never correctly install first time
Anyone able to help ? I have uninstalled them via the add & remove programs in control panel Deleted the folders left behind run display driver uninstall used CC cleaner still they don't always install if at all
dotnet and visual c have caused issues for me in the past, I believe both are used in amd catalyst drivers
Have you tried installing them via device manager? I.e Device Manager > Properties > Driver Tab > Update Driver > Browse to where you extracted the drivers.
nope cant say I have yet it is for my dads pc I am trying to do it for the GTA V stutter fix but may not need to now as they have just done a Fix part of which is a FPS fix so maybe no need now untill they release some full official ones I will remember to try that for next time I get it on my PC as well everytime new drivers come out
