8101's were always the poor relation to other 810x WU's - I never understood why Stanford didn't address the issue years ago ... as you say, not long left now ...

I did post on the Folding Reddit site to find out what they have in place for the end of bigadv (and to request that it was in place BEFORE the end of bigadv!), but no real information given, which is unfortunately characteristic of the Stanford group.

Finally (far too late in my opinion) an announcement - essentially, they will try to push larger, standard WU's for large-core machines.

Strange they make the announcement on the day they are to stop issuing BA work units.

Also looking at server status and the server that issued my current P8106:

    Code:

Still accepting and 328 wu's to go.

    The end is nigh! :sigh:

    Well that's it.

No more BA work units. Now getting P7504, core A3, for a massive estimated ppd of 109,000. :sigh:

So, if my maths are right, I was getting about 500PPD per watt, but now getting 190PPD per watt on my 64 core server. Not good. :grr:

Again if my maths are right, my 2 x 970's are producing between 400PPD per watt to 1,300PPD per watt. (Depends on core 15 or 17/18)

Also means I can no longer sustain over 1m PPD. :waah:

Oh well added oneunit to the server client and see how temps go once it stops folding. Coolant should be ok to -8°C
