It's been a little while since I needed folding help but this one is bugging me.

When my GPU is folding it has a tendency (and by tendency I mean always) clocked down to 405MHz (should be 850MHz).

The GPU in question is in my sig. Any one know how to stop this?

It can be because of a setting in the nividia control panel. I think its the power management mode- change it to maximum performance (under 3d settings). When set to adaptive it can stop the GPU from running at full load all the time.

Had the same problem with the gtx580.

Upgraded to the latest drivers(280.26) did the trick for me.

That makes sense, I remember someone mentioning that before. Changed that now and just going to have to restart my PC and see if it works!

    Thanks buddy
