Will edit this post when more details are settled, more than welcome to comment and come say hello on Mumble. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19th 16vs16 Results: Bit-tech 3, Aria 0 Seine Crossing: Very even round, being CPC guys favourite map, we were pleasantly surprised by the fight put up by Aria guys, flanking us and amazing ability to take out Draca’s tanks. Relatively even game, with both teams able to flank often and cap points at other side of the river regularly. We were finding it hard to hold 3 flags, regularly getting flanked. But near the end, we found way to hold two bridges and won. Very good games. Damavand Peak: (Rush, 2 ways) We were attacking in the first Rush round, almost everyone were assault and just ran at the objective. First few sets of objectives didn’t give us much problem because the battlefield is quite wide. Last objective was really close: we lost our first push, down to 40 tickets, final push clicked; Draca distracted them on the right objective while a small group of people went to left objective and managed to plant. The defence round was relatively eventless, sorry I forgot to record. They first pushed on our left side, we put a stop to that, and then they ran down the right side. I think the key was that they didn’t use enough smoke to conceal and distract. Caspian Boarder: Caspian is Aria’s map choice, unlike a public game, everyone went for the objective, leaving the chopper unattended. So I took up the challenge and flew with Digi. We had good runs, managing to spot the SOFLAMs before they got a javelin on us. Can’t comment on rest of the game though as I only went around objectives and rocketing tanks. sorry for off colour video and screenshots. i forgot i had f.lux turned on.
im not sure TBH. just put in your vote to the poll, then if something come up, say you can't make it in this thread, and i'll mentally remove you from the poll list. if you can do both, put both down
Pretty sure i can be there for both (my only problem is mumble, can't guarantee i can talk but i can definitely listen to orders , you'll have to tell me whether this is acceptable or not!) I've been lurking about on the Bit/CPC server when it's had people on; Soldier Name is HoneyBadgerUK
listening on VOIP is more than not participating can't access Battlelog at the moment, unsure if this will happen on the CPC server due to lag complains by Aria players. i'll do some scouting..... but VOIP will definitely happen on the mumble server found in my sig.
I'm in for both nights, though depends on work. I have an interview this friday. So if I get the job it's down to my shifts xD
I should be able to make it this time on both dates, I'll definitely be online on the 19th but need to make sure I block anyone booking anything in my diary for the 26th. Good timing as well with me getting my headset back yesterday with the mic repaired. I'll try jump on Mumble tonight as well so I can get the audio levels sorted and make sure people can hear me and not too much of the background noise in my room.
You can join me in my squad, we can supply a decoy service together (I'm sure that's mostly what I'll be doing). You'd be surprised how useful people can be when they're distracting someone in a tank/LAV or luring the enemy into open ground. I've found I don't seem to kill or even shoot people as much as I did on BFBC2, I seem to focus more on being a secondary support unit usually as an Assault medic.
