Overclocking OC Q6600 on Gigabyte GA-P35-S3G - solved

    Hi Guys

    Just thought i would post this as people with this motherboard have been posting issues about overclocking.

    Fundamentally, it boils down to the fact that the manual settings do not save in the BIOS and the PC restarts with a backup BIOS.

    The only way i could get it to work was to backdate to an older BIOS F3a.

    This allowed me to save settings and i have easily managed a 2.4Ghz - 3 Ghz (25%) overclock at stock voltage and air cooling.

    So You gotta use this F3a BIOS!
