Memory help with bios flashing

    well after buying a new motherboard and cpu off the forums i found they dont play well together, the motherboard doesnt support the CPU untill i flash its bios, fortunatly its an ASUS with the EZflash, unfortuantly i dont have a cpu that it does support to flash it with

    the motherboard is a 1155 Asus Maximus IV Gene with bios revision 0402 and my cpu is the I3 2125 ( i need revision 0403 to support it )

    anyone lend a cpu / advice ?

    You will need a SB chip unfortunately to flash the BIOS. Some Asus boards do have the capability of flashing the BIOS without a CPU installed but that board doesn't... I don't have one to lend unfortunately...

    Oh, and glad to hear that the CPU arrived safe and sound :|
