Build Advice 2 x pci-e 3 to run x 16

its been some time since I have needed or wanted to use a Sli set up.

However I have found myself with one spare 690GTX and hate waste.

So, looking for a replacement cpu/mobo (pci-3) for my i72600k / GeneiV (version 1 pci-e2)
that will be able to use both 690's in quad running at x16 on both lanes

Suggesting would be welcome )

 

x79 is your best bet you can have x16 x8 x16 so if you ever make another big discovery of a 690 it could run at x8
