    Money is not a problem.

What is the best (benchmark wise) graphic card easily available at the moment?

    =)

Either the GF3 Ti 500, or the ATI Radeon 8500 (which actually uses directx 8's features more than any other card on the market)

    :D

I could well be wrong, but I though the best card for benchmarks was the GR3 made by ASUS.

Depends on what benchmark you do ;) in reality tho all GF3 (non Ti) run at the same speed in real world tests and this does include pre overclocked ones like the Gainward Golden Sample etc etc (nastly long name ;)).

All I ever hear is about how unrelyable benchmarks are - which does not surprise me. Which is the best benchmark to use for graphics (I use 3d mark at present), or am I better off not bothing.

Personnaly, I would say that 3D mark is pretty reliable, and gives a good indication of performance. However, if games and applications you use run smoothly, then who's to say that benchmarks are everything!
