Hi all, I have just spent a few hours rebuilding my rig based on an old MSI K9A2 platinum board. It was getting rather hot with two GPUs so I have removed some drives and rerouted the cables to get better air flow. The problem I have is that the OS drive is not being detected. The DVD drive is but not the hard drive. I have tried it on different sata ports and have checked through the bios settings, I know the drive is good as I can browse it in a caddy on a different machine. I have also changed the sata data cable but am now at a loss as to what else I can do? Thanks.
You said you've tried different sata ports, but have you tried the port that the dvd-drive is using? If that doesn't work, try a cmos clear.
