To me it's NOT a shame not to see one of those damn 200 mm fans on the roof. If it's silence you're after, proper 120/140 mm fans are easy to find. BTW those new Antec fans actually are quiet...

And for more photos, there's a gallery over at: http://www.anandtech.com/Gallery/Album/1111

Looks good to me, might end up actually using this, or the new Solo II.

I'm glad there's a new Antec case which focuses on classic smooth lines rather than those garish gaming cases they've been focusing on for the past two years. Looks nice.

That aside, as Jipa said. Is a 200mm+ fan in the top really so difficult?

I have just got rid of my P180 Mini after replacing the 200mm fan and that one chattered as well. being able to use any 120mm/140mm is a better option imho.

Well, there's that. I still love my delightfully silent Mini P180. Never had a problem with the top fan on low. Would be good to have the option of either 2*140mm or one 200mm+ fan.

This is surely an advertisement for Antec and i44 and should be labelled as such..

I hated the 200mm fan in my antec tower, it barely moved any air, and I just deemed it pointless.
Much happier with a dual 120/140mm setup.

would love to be able to block those top vents like in Fractal Design cases. current configuration seems like a neg-pressure case with dust sucked through the back vents.

like the 2x120 fan placements. wonder if it's possible to put 2 240 radiators in this case? one on top, one on the HDD cage? that would make this an awesome watercooling case. there's more than enough room.

d'oh, was planning on speccing for a couple of days, but can't afford to get there.

    typical.

always been a fan on the range, but once i started attenting i-series i have to say i was less enamoured. they are not a great case to try and get to a LAN when you have no car and a very bad back :( hopefully this one will weigh a bit less than the usual baby elephant

The dimensions of the P180 v3 are 514 mm (H) x 205 mm (W) x 507 mm (D), so one can hardly claim the P280 is smaller. The P280 seems to weigh in at a few kilos less than then P180 v3, though. Probably because it's a mere shade of its predecessors when it comes right down to it.

The fans in my antec 900 purchased in 2007 are all original and still as quiet as ever. I will be upgrading to this case over xmas, 900 gets too dusty.

this looks to be a killer...and with the issues of the fractal door, may swing my money in antec's direction...read a few reviews and it is looking nice, and for $140

i saw the case as it was being unpacked yesterday its very very shiny literally and fingerprints are a pain to get off even iff there is a cloth supplied for it, its built solid although looks like it would lack cooling which the sales rep from antec agreed with

can see that. looks like no fans on the front for intake come with it...but i would imagine a couple of good fans for the front would make it just as good as the fractal at cooling if not better. but honestly, you're not buying this case for world class cooling...
