Kinda strange but seeing as most subscribers have sky+ not really an issue. I wouldn't mind if the shows I watch were screened at the same time as in the US and I could record them for the next day.
apparnatly to help combat piracy - will be shown at 9pm as well Monday evening but its going out at the same time as the USA - and yes my HD box is set to record
My dad loves the show but can't get it on virgin. I used to record it then transfer it to DVD but my recorder packed up.
It annoys you when the actors who play characters whose names you can't remember change? Ok. I was a bit thrown by that too, but it's entirely acceptable with a production of this scale. Heck, they got away with it ok in Iron Man (Rhodes went from Terence Howard to Don Cheadle). Plus, fun fact, they've done it before! Gregor Clegane was changed in Season 2 and has apparently been changed again this season. Actors usually contract one season at a time (or a set number of episodes, if they are minor characters) and sometimes circumstances (or greed in the case of Howard) force them to be unable to renew contracts for further appearances.
