right, i need a new gfx card.

i think a ti200 is a little too much to spend for me at the moment, i could afford but i'd have to wait until spring time ish and i want to buy right after xmas.

so, im looking at no more than £140 ish

i think it'll have to be a gf2 based card.

    Ive seen the

Gainward GeForce2 Ti/450 TV Golden Sample 64MB DDR (AGP) - Retail - £116.21 inc vat

but whats the difference between that and a

Hercules 3D Prophet II Titanium £137.47 inc vat?

    ??

    cheers

    a shame u cant stretch to a Ti200 m8.....u sure u cant get £169 in time for xmas? Dabs do a Ti200 for £169 + delivery u know.....

Of those two I would go for the Gainward, it will amost certainly overclock well in excess of GeForce 2 Ultra levels.....dont forget to add ramsinks though as the memory will get hot if you plan to overclock!

Or you could perhaps buy a Leadtek 2 Ti, they clock very well indeed.........

    :)

That Gainward is supposed to be a pretty decent card. I would go with that.

Id go with the herc cause they are awesome cards, top quality (hence price), but the gainwood is cheaper and you're pretty much gurenteed an OC.
