Hi guys and girls, With myself and the missus going on holiday for the first time in what feels like ages, we've decided that it may be time to change my rather obsolete PowerShot A560 into something a bit more modern. The current camera has done well to last this long, the quality of the pictures is getting a bit dated. So...any recommendations for what to change up to? Budget is £200, with £250 as an utter maximum. We're after the same sort of size / shape, able to take good quality high resolution pictures. Thanks
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Canon-EOS-C...?ie=UTF8&qid=1423939121&sr=8-5&keywords=eos+m Bust the budget to just under £240 and this will blow the socks off a horrible point and shoot. It has auto modes if you're being lazy.
I've been reading up recently on a camera that'll fit in a pocket and provide decent results and came up with the Nikon S9700. Obviously not as versatile as the one mentioned above but a good price and gets good reviews.
Thanks all, just to give a small update, I've picked up the EOS-M and just ordered a 32gb memory card & Lowepro Event Messenger 100 bag for it. Hopefully should be ready to use it next week
Out of curiousity, how do these compare to the new flagship smartphones? I'm talking about the compact point and shoots
Standard Argos. They drop the price only at the point when something is down to the last dregs of availability - ie: nothing available for home delivery and physically in about 10 stores nationwide. Brooxy, hope you enjoy the M. I recently ran an intro to photography course for staff members at my university using three of them bought for the department and they're doing a really good job for the price.
