I have bought myself a Seagate Barracuda 2 TB HDD as one of my 750gb HDDs failed the other month and given the two were bought together i suspect its a matter of time before the other fails..

I have win 7 on my ssd with most of the programs/games/vuze torrents/steam etc on the old still working 750 hdd.

I obviously want to clone the 750gb HDD onto the new seagate so could anyone recommend a program free or otherwise because i will just rip it

Also is it wise/any issues to clone onto a brand new HDD around 400gb of stuff or is it likely to cause more hassle than worth?

when you clone a drive, you normally, disconnect the drive, replace it with the clone, then you need to get rid of the windows on the original drive.

    This is available on giveawayoftheday.com

Paragon Migrate OS to SSD 3.0 Special Edition (English)

I've never used cloning software so I can't comment on it.
