I had to wiki 'gold farming'. Apparently it's the acquirement of 'game money' then sale of game money for real money.

I think the race with the largest propensity for terrorism would be the Goblins.

    Start there FBI. Start there.

I don't usually say this, but do the FBI seriously have nothing else to do? Shouldn't this be an internal WoW investigation, not an FBI thing on breaking terms and conditions. Next thing you know, the SAS will drop in on a house of gold farmers.

FBI are just using the terroism links to gain public support.

Think about it...micro transactions across millions of people spread around the world - sounds like a money launderers dream.

Regarding terrorism, the FBI are simply following the old fashioned detective principle - follow the money.

It just contravenes the Blizzard Terms of Service/Eula, but no, you're correct - it's not illegal.

Yeah I get this feeling as well, I remember some old news that CIA was interested in watching MMO-logs since they thought that terrorists might plan/meet there...

Yeah, but they could prob get more money if they got a 'job' then used pay-pal, e-bay etc instead of earning fake money to sell for real money. (Although maybe less fun.)

They will be raiding Blizzard HQ next.
