TBH I would buy 2 x 4GB memory from Crucial which is guaranteed compatible for the mobo or your money back. Link http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/mpartspecs.aspx?mtbpoid=9B704D87A5CA7304
Does not matter now as he order them see if it works or not And he got an ASUS Mobo due to the gigabyte one out if stock (bad thing is he got one with an pci-e 4x for the second 16x slot when he could of got one euthanasia an 8x second slot)
Yes I know that, thinking of i7 as that norm go in 3 slots to make 12gb Still be nice to know if it will work 4x4gb or 2x4gb and 2x2gb
claim and actually working not the same thing, why I was asking has any one tried 2x4gb or even 4x to see if the BIOS supports it anandtech found this out with i7 when trying 12gb did not work correctly (mite of been 6x4gb)
