Hey all, im after some fellow watercoolers advice.

    First question is.....

    1) Would a single Quad 480 rad be enough to cool:-

    i7 2600k @ 4.6GHz (approx 1.35 volts)
    GTX 480 with mild overclock
    Sabertooth motherboard VRMs

I think it should be, but i do have the option of adding in a further 240 or even a 280 rad into the base.

    Second question is.....

    2) Would 2x MCP350 pumps in series provide enough power/flow to push the water through that lot? (please answer for just a 480 rad, plus the additional rad option of 480 and 280.

The pumps are 12v 10w each, and would have dual XSPC top on them.

Would love to get some other opinions on this. My gut feeling is that 1) the 480 will be enough, and that 2) the 2x pumps in series will also be ok.

But you never can be too sure!

    thank you :thumb:

    1. Yes, quad rad enough and with decent temps.

    2. Your current D5 would be enough, probably on setting 3. Rather than 2 x 350's (unless you already have them) I'd suggest a 35X mainly for the PWM functionality as an alternative.
