    Hey

Anyone else have issues over the last few days with any units?

For the first 3 frames or so everything is running normally, then suddenly the TPF doubles and does not come back down.

This happens with SMP, bigadv and bigbeta units.

The latter two are pushed well outside the required time frame to get points.

No system changes, have restarted and disabled all programs that are running.

    2600k @ 4.5Ghz with Ubuntu in a VMware image running under 7 64bit.

Even gone down to 3k PPD with SMP currently, compared to 70k PPD last week :/

May end up just doing a full format and going to ESXi if each 'image' can full screened and used like a normal PC.

If the computer has crashed or something FAH can run in safe mode?? (read this somewhere) You can try adding the -forceasm flag to see if it brings it back in line.

I tried ESXi on one of my 2600Ks and my 3930K, couldn't get it to run on either :(

I've noticed my PPD has been all over the place recently. In the last week it has varied between 6,783 and 72,595 on an 2600k at 4.2GHz.

Interesting, this only happens when folding in a VM....

Might re-install it and see what happens or remove all the tweaks I have added and see!

I'm set up for Advanced work on my 2700K and GTX570. The GPU fluctuates betwen 15K and 20K ppd. The CPU fluctuates between approx 7K and 60K ppf. I've not bothered with bigadv as advanced gives high ppd, and bigadv won't be available soon with less than 16 threads.

When I see the CPU with a wu that will take 12+ hours AND give less than 15K pdd, I just shut fah down and delete the work folder. I usually get a 50+K wu as soon as I restart it :)

yup, defeats the purpose of folding when it's all about the points. :)
