Since NAS's seem to be more popular I thought I'd post a thread where folks can share their use cases and "achievements" with each other... And as I'm here I'll start... Buzzplayer is an iOS app that allows me to stream my films directly to my iPad, even if they're in a format the iPad can't usually handle, like MKV. Goodreader is an iOS app that allows me to read pdf and other documents directly from my NAS. Handy since I don't use iBooks or a Kindle but I do store lots of eBooks on my NAS. I'll post more as I come across them but feel free to chime in...
