Just started playing through the first one recently, if it wasn't for the swearing, it seems like it would be a great game for me and my daughter to play together - an option to switch this off would be nice... Still, enjoying it so far.
I think the language is commensurate with the very adult themes. Looking forward to more of the same, hopefully with new characters.
Life Is Strange is not a game to be playing with children, even if you could turn the swearing off. We're talking drug use, physical and sexual assault, date-rape drugs, murder, child abuse references, kidnap, torture... It gets super, super dark as you progress. Fantastic game, fantastic story, but by Christmas that age rating is on there for a reason. (Also, if you take a particular conversational route during one scene in the fifth episode a character drops a C-bomb, which considering it's a PEGI 16 came as something of a shock.)
