This thread has made me think about a list....
Years ago i thought about going freelance, and err well events last year forced me into freelancing so i guess i could tick that off. Shall have to come back to this..

I think moving in the countryside.
I know for a fact that when I do die, I want all my usable organs to be donated to people and perhaps my body to science. However if not possible, I'd like to have my body turned into fertilizer for a nice tree, I'm thinking cherry blossom. Or perhaps fertilizer for a field of crops. Graves baffle me and cremation is a bit of a waste.

I can't believe I didn't put this on my list before, you've just reminded me that it needs to go on there: Move back to the country. Get away from the city and all the people and the pollution between dusk and dawn. Go home and be able to actually get away from work in the evenings and do relaxing stuff like playing with my dog (which I'd have by this stage) or go out to the garage after dinner and work on my car, or just take the dog for a walk with my gf/wife/best friend. That's going on the list!

Hmm not an easy one this as theres lots of things I would love to do,moving home to south Devon IE: Dawlish,Dawlish Warren Painton basically anywhere along the jurasic coast from exmouth down to Painton and Torquay. I have not yet seen the original black sabbath lineup so would love to sort that out,but most of all and my ultimate goal to put smiles on as many faces as I can by helping as many disadvantadged people as I can while I can.

Most of the top items on mine are, um, inappropriate for forum posting
I'd like to learn to drive a bulldozer, just for the hell of it Get my Paramedic certification (waiting to hear if I got into school) Get married to the right woman Design and build a boat large enough to cruise on (40-45 footer) Fly solo, probably in an ultralight because my eyesight is too bad to get a license. Move permanently to a different country All that said though, I don't take it too seriously. I've accomplished so much in my life and yet I'm still alone and depressed much of the time, so I'm not sure what accomplishing more will do for me. I'm a volunteer firefighter / EMT, I've been a full time professional EMT, I've taught myself to sew and make jewelry and photography and gotten good enough at each to sell my work. I've had stuff I've written published. I just finished building my second kayak, this one to my own design, and I'm getting ready to start on a third. I helped found and served as the first president of the Railway museum. I've helped friends through problems from failing marriages to dying spouses, to overcoming codependency to starting on the path to living their dreams. So where do all these great accomplishments leave me? Well, pretty much alone.

I nearly completed a silly one today, except I didn't.
After 10 years of watching Naruto I wanted to watch the yearly movie in Japan. Finally no fansubs: right at the source at launch. I'm finally here. There are adverts everywhere. I get some spare time and get to a movie theatre... I'm a month early it opens on 28th July.

For me I want a job that I can travel the world with.
Take a 6 month Vacation to visit family in California. Do up a classic car. Animate a short film. Tell the next door neighbour to f off back to London if he expects 24/7 peace and quiet he shouldn't have moved next to a farm. |

Construction has started on our house, first order of business was to knock down the old shed across from our trailer, I did it with a 20 oz framing hammer and two excellent gloves. Now I'm moving into moving the wood (ancient live oak) to the barn, cleaning out the barn and clearing the area around it, and then I'll figure out what to do next.
The longest journeys still had to take the first step. |

moving is quite a bit of work.. our new place was built in the 50's.. I went in the attic and couldn't believe how many bags of wool were used to insulate the place- I can't even find the wiring xD
I put the floodlights in the breezeway and backyard on a timer.. put another outlet in the garage.. still need to reroute the sprinklers- I'm going to put in brick pillars and connect them with iron.. doing the backyard fence after to include a sliding gate =p too much really- still a list of things to do after that I'm too cheap to hire people too kayin.. gl on the house |

Basically just travelling.
Firstly I've always wanted to travel Scandinavia - from what I've seen, it's a beautiful place. I'd also like to travel the States, and far-east Asia. And, some point in my lifetime, I want to go in to space. Maybe when I'm 70 Virgin Galactic will be active. |

Good luck with item 3. Makes the rest seem very achievable.
