Right ho, how do I go about getting Video in to work on my geforce?

I have an svideo cable plugged into me card, and the other end is neatly nestled into my DVD player, but I can't figure out how to watch the input that I is feeding it see - my tv fookerd up today (Well, actually I ****erd it up with me hammer slinging fit trying to find the phone :() and I wan't to watch Human Traffic, but my DVD drive in me pooter is well dodgy, and it gives me really stuttery playback of DVD's - the drives knackerd but I can't be arsked going getting a new one ;))

Will I have to use the st00pid manufacturer drivers for my card, or can I use the NVidia reference drivers?

Please help! Need to see movies, neeeeed Human Traffic...

Do you have a TV card built into your card?

If not you wont be able to watch a DVD via your TV-OUT socket...
Thats meant for using a TV instead of an monitor.

If you do have a onboard TV card then you will need to find drivers for it. Probably on the manufacturers website

Quite the opposite infact - I wish to watch DVD's from my DVD player on my monitor:

    a) Because its bigger
    b) Because Creative make cr@p DVD Drives...

Theres a socket that connects to a 'spider' wire on my GF3 - an abit gf3 siluro VI/O - the socket looks like a s-video plug, but has more prongs in it.

I hope you can see what I mean now...

Yes, I am sure. There are 4 plugs on the socket:

    1 is composite out
    1 is s-video out
    1 is composite in
    1 is s-video in

Every leg has a label, either In or Out - it shows a piccy in the manual, but not how to get it to work :(

Have you tried it with the drivers from the abit website ? Also there might be a usefull FAQ there

THere may be some extra drivers there just for the capture stuff.

Otherwise im probably not going to be much help. maybee somebody else has one ofthese cards.

I was looking on their website the day I got it, looking for updated drivers, but I found NONE... abit make good mainboards, but it's starting to look grim on the GFX side of things...
