Modding PSU sleeving help

im relatively new into modding and i was wondering if anyone can post how to sleeve wiring, or at least post a link to a guide or a thread of how to. thanks

This is heatshrinkless sleeving - I just tried it and it is, in my opinion, easier than doing it with heatshrink. The tool he's made isn't essential, as you can use a piece of black tape over the pin. For removing the metal pins:

I chose to sew my ends, but doing the lighter trick is much easier.

Is that your picture? If so, where did you get the little black bit to keep your SATA wires tidy?

 

Yes is mine, i think its for sparkplugs, i just had it laying around lol. What you want is this though

 

Yes and no.

It've very nice and would look amazing, but it makes the wires sit wider than the width of the plugs, my OCD would not like this. The one in your first picture is perfect.

I like the style of the one in the first piccie as well. I could use quite a few of them. I did make my own from zip ties for the cables coming out of the fan controllers but it's fiddly to make them and they don't look too good close up.
