Hello everyone. I am new to the Community. I will start by saying this has to be one of
the best collection of talented modders I have seen yet. Hats off to all of you!:thumb:

I am Hanoverfist and would like to share a project with you.
I have been building since the late 90's but never really thought much about Modding.
2012 I started a Project called Electric Orange. Took 14 months and i admit at times i wondered what the heck i had gotten into. That project ended in January of this year and i craved for another almost instantly.

I have a real love for paint, so i started thinking about colors. I wanted to have a real understated build as far as parts go. My thoughts were to have the paint so beautiful you wouldn't care what was inside. So i started browsing through the House of Kolor Catalog.
That resulted in something i thought would look Awesome .. I choose Brandywine Candy for the color. Candy paint is translucent so it needs a base color to work. I choose Galaxy Grey Metallic for the base color. The Metallic base with the Candy on top is what your about to see.

I will start with a Big Thanks to Lamptron for their Sponsorship

First thing i did is Drill out all the Rivets and get it ready for Stripping.

Had the case dipped in Acid to remove the Powdercoat.. It was just faster this way.
Case feet showed up just in time for these shots.

Next Delivery showed up. Some Hardware.

I got a new Airbrush for this project. Iwata's HP C Plus
Along with my go to Gun. Sharpe Finex FX1000
    [IMG]

Lets get started with the Color. First, HOK's Black Epoxy Primer. This stuff sprays so silky smooth i barely had to touch it with sandpaper. Amazing Primer!

I laid down the Base metallic and due to the time constraints when applying these type of paints no pics were taken of the base. Here is some shots of how this looks all said and done.

I really am interested in that CM615 and the Remote access, Have not tested yet.
But something has to be done about those.. I think some color at this point would look good.

I couldnt make up my mind with the order of these since they dont match, I ended up with the 611 on Bottom

Crazy good stuff. Makes me want an airbrush bad, but I'd probably embarrass myself.

    Great work!

Great airbrushing, but you should have the same color on all the case.

Why do you need a "internet controler" or what is it usefull for?

Good to see you Craig..Thanks for stopping in.

Thanks Todd. You never know until you try.

Lamptron CM615 allows for network access. I will have temp probes on the mechanical drives that run 24/7. I can access those temps without having to be at the machine. You could monitor or control fans if that is something i had hooked up to it.

Thanks for the kind word y0gi:thumb:

Thanks Nexxo for taking the time for comment.:)

The case is not my style, but I would be a fool to not appreciate the quality. Paint finish looks pristine man, excellent job! I'm curious what paints you used for the main coats?

    Keep up the good work!

Thanks for having a peek at it...:thumb:
I use House of Kolor paints for everything. Epoxy Primer/ Galaxy Grey metallic for base color/Brandywine
Kandy over the base/ then USC01 show clear.

Good to see you my friend. Thank you for compliment.:thumb:
