Ek have a universal block that will fit the soutbride so that's taken care of :). So the area around CPU is mofsets correct? What blocks suit these or are they a universal fit ek have no plans to make one. Sorry for newbie questions first attempt at water cooling.

No the southbridge is the heat sink near the PCI(-E) slots, they really run cool so no need to water cool that.
If you want to water cool your motherboard cool the mosfets, VRMs and northbridge, they are around your CPU

Mofset run parellel to top of board directly above CPU socket correct? Guessing vrm runs down left side of CPU? Does the z77 not have a north bridge? Trying to find blocks that will fit is a real pita.

VRMs & mosfets are (most of the times) grouped together, infront of each other or next to each other. But yes, around the CPU.
The northbridge is also near the VRM & mosfets, most commonly placed between the VRM/mosfets and 1th PCI(-E) slot, if you remove the heat sink from the your motherboard you'll problely see it instantly.

Heres a small picture on a old motherboard :)

Yea that is where I thought the northbridge was. Here is a picture of my board

does not appear to have a northbridge. But as long as I can find the needed waterblock will cool the mofset/vrm and ram in same loop.

The northbridge and southbridge don't technically exist anymore as 90% of the I/O is built into the CPI. There is a semi-southbridge with deals with extra SATA ports and USB and such.

Either way, on a Z77 board they run so cool that watercooling them is just a pointless waste of money. Don't bother, as it wont help you OC any better and all it will do it add extra restriction to your loop. Just do CPU and GPU and have a fan blowing near the motherboard and you'll be set.
