Hi everyone, I don't think there are enough threads simply about people just showing off the computers and what they have done to upgrade, so I thought I would do a quick update like I do every few months. For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of reading my threads before, I am only 14 but don't be put off. This time there is quite a few large upgrades as I have been working this summer. I think this will be easier if you see my computer from my last update:

Now, I have just finished watercooling it, and built a new sound configuration. Watercooling first, I have gone budget based, with a 120 rad but with a very high fin density. As
well as a standard block, hosing and self contained pump/reservoir, I did indulge in a litre of mayhems aurora nebula as I am using clear tubing:

Ok now the sound system, I have bought a pair of gale 3010s and some kenwood speakers which I had to make a box and build into, aswell as an Aiwa amp. The outcome looking like this:

I am also uploading a video to youtube, my username is "WHDGON" It will be called "watercooled gaming computer" so if you want to check it out, feel free.:thumb:
Sadly this is where my thread ends for now but if you have any suggestions:idea: for the computer please comment aswell as friend me!
    Thankyou.

Good work dude! Would be nice to see some other pics of your build from further away, so we can see where the res, pump etc is!

How are you outputting to your amp? Onboard SPDIF, optical out, USB DAC?

    Just my curiosity.

As far as I'm aware, Mayhems Aurora is designed for show systems and not long term use and they recommend using other coolants e.g. Mayhems Pastel or distilled water. Other than that looks like a nice build!

Yea, the reservoir/pump actually came with a couple of L.E.Ds, so I will find a way to use those!:thumb:

That is right. Whether that is just to cover themselves against any accusations of making a product that gunks up, or because the product actually gunks up is difficult to know!

Let us know if there is any gunking when you clean the loop, us watercoolers will be very interested.

If I recall correctly, the problem wasn't gunking up in the long term, but the nano particles being smashed into oblivion and it becoming a plain colour rather than an aurora...

Nope, I was wrong, but anyway - here's his wiki on aurora

I love the pc, using a hard drive to mount a pump is a new one though :D

The Gales are half decent speakers, not sure about the car speaker surrounds though!

    Good stuff.

    Wish I had a setup like that when I was 14. :)

Looks very nice, although you could use a new mouse!

I'd put a nice transparent usb/spdif DAC ahead of a mouse; but then I like my sounds :p

    Great work!
Us kids can get great set ups now. :D

I'm not sure how the car speakers will sound in your room though as they are built for a more compact space.

Ok well it has been running pretty much non stop for 2 and a half weeks now and I just decided to check ( by emptying a bit out of the reservoir ), and I know it is early-on but there is no sign of gunking up. I will update you after 2 or 3 months.:thumb:
