    I wanted to make a thread celebrating Bit Tech!

    The only rule is, posts must begin with....

    "Bit-Tech is awesome because...."

    No one I know in my 'real' life wants to talk about PC hardware. :thumb:

    Some may know this, but I joined bit tech like many other members to ask advice on a computer. From the advice I was given I bought my current rig and haven't looked back.

    I got involved in the gaming thread and battlefield 3. And progressed to helping run the BF3 server etc. But it's more than just that. I find this place is more like home than any other community I have been involved in.

    I regularly contribute to discussions as and when I feel I have an input and enjoy gaming with many people online.

    Through this community I also met the Aria boys and in turn went to the Mumble Meet last month. This instilled even more faith in the community and the friends I had made. As it is easy to be someone you aren't online. But all the guys I met where themselves.

    Even the grumpy git that is Fluidic XD.

    And this evening. Deadbolt knowing my current financial situation bought the Borderlands 2 Season Pass for me. He did this without me asking in anyway and for that it makes this community truly awesome.

    Bit tech is great because if I look back it helps me chart my own history, from a whiney, sometimes annoying 16 year old, to a whiney, mostly annoying 27 year old :)

    And you know, for the help and stuff... :)

    It just is. A community where I met some awesome gaming buddies. Refined my writing style in terms of understandable presentation. Hell a bunch of awesome jokes were had here. It's a fantastic community and I dunno, at the very least it tracked my progress as a Human being. :D

    Plus the Serious section is the tits.

    Bit-tech is awesome because I can talk intelligently here, and I get intelligent responses back. Which often does not happen in real life...
