Sorry my bad English, I'm from xUSSR.

One year ago I build a very small custom case for my computer. It has only 4 USB ports.
On the table I have the USB hub and a lot of USB devices. A large garland :waah:
I want to reduce the count of these devices and some of them I want to put inside the mouse.
I modding the mouse at the first time, so I took an old A4 Office 8K.
    Why old?
In our country we say - "You must train first on cats !' (а потом уже грабь корованы).

Thus inside the mice will be several devices :
1st - the same USB hub
    2nd - IR-receiver and/or an additional 4 programmable keys
third - micro-SD card reader or a little bluetooth dongle ( I do not know yet what is more important)
and the fourth - a graphical LCD display with 176 x 132 pixels

As a result, my mouse will be showing a movie (maybe ), understand additional commands and communicate with the computer.

    Current consumption :

    hub = 70mA
    hub + mouse = 90/110mA (idle/work)
    hub + mouse + IR-receiver = 95/115mA
    hub + mouse + IR-receiver + LCD = 280/300mA

hub is connected via a 0.1 ohm resistor
voltmeter measures the voltage on this resistor
    so, I(mA) = U(mV)/0,1

This is a joke from an old Soviet movie.
Three men wanted to rob the store.
One of these trains put to sleep guard with chloroform.
But first try to check it out on his partner.
But the partner said "You're crazy? Come train on cats!"

    ok, news...

PC remote control and USB-keyboard emulator (4 keys).
    I use an inexpensive China's kit :

    disassembled receiver

    [IMG] [IMG]

    functional diagram of RC & k/b-emulator :

logic analyzer connected to the receiver and demonstrated these diagrams

    [IMG] [IMG]

    [IMG] [IMG]

now it remains to repeat these codes using a microcontroller
