    the asus sabertooth is a brand new board to the market with innovative ceramics coating which means the p55 and mostfets have ceramic covering the fins of the heat sinks..

    thing is tho how good is it at overclocking.... i wanna water cool it and it goes along with the color scheme of my case and asus is the only brand that has water blocks for the p55

    so do any of u no how good is it or wat?

    Sabertooth is the pinnacle, if you can afford it go for it... if you can't tell yourself it's excessive and get something else

    Excessive is an understatement. No one apart from the military needs a "military grade" motherboard. Are you planning on gaming in Iraq during a sand storm in 50C heat?

    I expect it overclocks pretty much like all Asus P55 boards - pretty good.

    Wait, didn't you say here that you would only be overclocking with Turbo Mode? You can do that with a motherboard which costs less than half that and even with the stock Intel cooler, no watercooling needed.

    Oh. My. God. That motherboard looks so gorgeous. For a moment i considered selling my X58 hardware and going P55 just so i can have one of those.

    'This my opinion and my experience'

    I would not buy another Asus Motherboard again. I have own a fair share of Asus boards over the years and compared to the gigabyte boards.

    Reasons;

    Very unstable when overclocked.
    Overpriced
    Bios is flaky
    Dies after a few months
    Bad customer service

    And before you say. Yes I know Asus boards can overclock with higher frequency on the bus but it can't hold that frequency 24/7.
