Interesting. Curious about performance... particularly FP64.

Typo?: Shouldn't Tim Sweeney have three 'e's?

Price: More than what my computer's worth.

On the flipside, this may result in a GTX 980 Ti with cut-down FP64 and less RAM...

Seeing as the last single chip titans had 7billion transistors and even the 980 has 5, I doubt this will be a dual chip card. The cooler also has the fan to one side and not in the middle as with the last 3 dual chip cards.

Given how much power maxwell sucks when you load it up with compute, wonder what they'll put as minimum PSU.

980 being specced at 165w (with TH measuring 185w gaming) but sucking up 284w when under cuda link

If it is just tack on another 128bit men controller plus 8sm type unit then we'd be considering a 400w part

Edit, realised I was thinking of it as a single GPU solution which I blame entirely on wccftech, as they were talking about a 3072 cuda core titanx, which would just be said extra 8sm/memory unit tacked on link if this is dual GPU that's scary amount of power used there

[Edit2] gonna have to go over diagrams of sm again, think I screwed those counts up, seemed to remember that 980 was 16sm and 970 was 13sm but doing this on mobile is pita so will look again later

You mean the "Man Cave" :D
Well as long as these cards last as long as the last Titans, then the premium makes it more appealing. :)
