    Hey guys,
I just received the blue screen (of death) and I think it was a hardware failure but I dont have a clue what piece it was and was wondering if the event manager would have that info and which part would help me identify the faulty component?!

Here's the result of event manager:

Alrightly well given its a Windows-Kernel-Power error and the DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error, this sounds mightily like its a memory issue.

If you have any Overclocks get rid of them, then run memtest86+ let it run through a full test.

Hopefully it should be able to tell you if theres an issue with memory.

Any drivers you recently changed? Also if you check your minidump files you might be able to spot the problem cause however BlueScreenView will do the job for you much more easily.

C:\Windows\Minidump and you will have to copy the files to the desktop and use notepad to open them (you can't open direct from the minidump folder due to system restrictions). However a lot of it is mumblejumble. BlueScreenView will help you view these files with ease.
