Notebooks sony vaio pcg-91111m secondary hdd

    need help trying to fit a secondary drive but it only has 1 connector which is odd the hdd cage has the 2 slots for the hdd`s any help pointing me in the right direction as i looked but cannot find nowt cheers

    What's the VPC number? Should be on the bottom of the laptop. I have a feeling that this is what you need but I want to double check.

    thanks for the reply im not to sure whats the vpc number as the only numbers are
    S/N 275350555004398*
    model number PCG-91111M
    service tag which i carnt make out

    Hmm. Is there something on the trim around the screen, bottom right hand side?

    Damn, I was hoping you wouldn't say that one. I can't find any dual HDD connectors that are compatible with that model. It's up to you if you wanna risk ordering it, that part number is compatible with a wide variety of 17.3" Sony products but my only concern is if it's electrically and physically compatible with the connector on your laptop.

    Otherwise, if you don't mind losing the optical drive, you can buy a caddy to install a second hard drive where the optical drive is.
