Yeah, the phone seems to be pretty strong. I mean, it was RIGHT under the tire, straight down the center, not on an edge, yet only a corner piece proke off and the edge lock broke, shearing the display connector. I would assume the display is broken, but you can't see leaking fluid or scratches or anything.
Oh, just remembered, my engineering teacher is letting me take it apart and use it for a project! So cool!

Surely a neighbour is only a few houses or so away?

 

We have a 350 foot driveway which goes up at a 35 degree angle (ish), and my dad was going to a meeting. He drove me up the driveway, dropped me at my neighbor's house, and then went to his meeting while I fed the cats. I walked home.
