Great review, but the fourth pic for the SkyPE thingy is actually showing the ethernet cable, driver disk and adaptor for the gigabyte wireless gaming adaptor.

Just thought you might like to know

Oooh, the Q-Be is quite funky...if I had money to burn I'd probably buy one.

[edit]
If you do a bit of searching, you can actually pick these up for £75 & £99 (512Mb and 1Gb respectively).

Also, I can't be bothered to search, but what's the deal with the 3.5mm jack plug? Is there a wired remote attached (hence the extra contact)?

Hmm... I wonder if there's acutually anything special about the gigabyte gaming adaptor. There are dozens of similar products available (wired to wireless via ethernet adaptors); and as they don't have "gaming adaptor" as a title, are even cheaper.

That micro mp3 player is a cool idea though. I could see a market for headphones for that with just a little 2" cable attached.

It doubles as the USB connection, I think.

Nice stuff

On the Skype bit... has anyone seen a standalone skype phone? What I mean is a device which runs Skype and basically nothing else so that you don't have to have your computer running to use skype.

Is it just me, or does that 550 watt Coolermaster scream "Silverstone ripoff"?

No, but the Amstrad E3 makes you wonder how cheap such a beast could be. I mean, £29 for all that goodness?

...and see here for what's in the box and its hacking potential.

I don't mean to sound negative but normally you compare a pmp to another pmp not to an iPod, also for 200~ you would think it would feel shabby compared to the rest of the pmpm's on the market

Don't worry, MrHaz is a bit of an Apple fanboy, but we've gotten used to it by now After all, I'm sure he'll make up for it with the CES coverage

you'd think but he did manage to get 2 ipod references in and neither product was comparable to any of the ipod range
