Reminds me of a large Hercules TFT. I didn't like those much either, lol

Hmm, looks georgous! And I'm considering a new monitor and this might be an option, just wondering if it's really worth the extra £100, I would like to see it firsthand though. Anyone know where I can see it in the shops?

Fair review, but I'll point out that a TV card can also record programmes to HD, so the value-for-money aspect of the built-in tuner is even less.

T'would be a nice match for my SFF though...

I wish I could afford one of those 24-30 inch LCD's from Dell/Apple. I'm getting tired of this big 19 inch CRT and 19 inch LCD taking up all my room on my desk

???
A 30" LCD would take less place on your desk?!

Extraordinary screen by the way but I still like my 19" CRT.

Disputed.

I have a 17" LCD with a native resolution of WUXGA (1920x1200) and it think it's great. With all that extra screen area, you could easily support a MUCH higer resolution.

Depthwise it would save space in comparison to the CRT yes.

imo the extra cost (compared to the Dell) isn't worth it for a TV tuner + slightly faster response time.

However, I do own an Acer Aspire lappy, and the glossy screen really does make a difference to vibrancy.

I find that a bit hard to believe, tbh. Seeing that laptop screens tend to be higher res, and a 17" WS laptop screen is also 1680x1050. I'd be quite interested to find out about that screen though. Though it's also nice to not need the very latest graphics card to play at the native res.

Regardless, I'll keep saving for the 2405FPW. I *really* want component-in. And this doesn't have it. Unless SCART translates to it in the states, which I doubt.

Looks very nice though.

That is one nice display. In Canada is cost around $750 for the 17" one. That a little to much. But you are getting hot of the line sexy LCD. Yeah when I think of it. Its goes well with my mod. Might just end up getting it and modding the yellow off and the sign to. Well then it wont be worth how much I paid for it but, modding is for fun.

I say 1.5 thumbs up. Out of 2 thumbs. Nie but to much moeny for it.

I like it But I don't like the red, even though it's a Ferrari brand. Nice article!

The screens on laptops aren't as 'good-a' quality as their desktop counterparts IMHO. The colours don't look as good in simple terms.

its a sign, this morning on the way to work with my friend in his 206, we saw a dude in a ferrari, he was just ahead of us in the long traffic line. We went alongside him on the next lane just to stare at his car, he musta known for sure but yeh anyways we sped past him after a few seconds. Silly really as a few seconds later we see this car zoom past us and literally glide across the lanes, they look so beatiful.

But yeh the flatscreen here...im gonna save for the 17" or 19"

#1 cpemma youre horrible with all your vintage stuff..
#2 yes it is a nice monitor and yes it is a wonderful monitor, but im kind of a not flashy type and wouldnt want all the shmansy casing of it, only if i did a ferrari mod and the closest ill get to that is when me and my friend mod an aspire x-infinity to a BMW theme, but i wouldnt mind doing a ferrari one too, but id sell it...
all just my opinion

the inbuilt tuner is great for less experienced users who just want functionaliy. I mean, my uncle grabbed a good 19" TFT with a tuner built in for about $100 more than the metero POS he had at first.
