yeah interesting stuff, i was reading about this earlier seems like Ati are unifing(sp?) the shader's and stuff but the reall test will be cutting down the latancies that the calculations need to be processed at.

Interesting - but what will be more interesting si to see when they are expected to be released and what the price will be? Really, they need to be released weel before Vista as the combined expense of a new OS, and a new GPU will probably be tto much for most people. A good ide to get the GPU out a numbger of months before so that all the driver bugs can be ironed out before Vista comes out - the last thing people - and Microsoft and ATI - want is to spend the first few months of using Vista to be spent with hangs, freezes and BSOD's caused be a brand new graphics card.
Release date of May -June would be good... Same goes for nVidia and their new release, whatever it will be.
