Good lord...

Man that game is so crazy. I might just need to get my self a 7900 just so I can play it with HDR and full settings. I think this anther game which I will be watching the intro for hours on end.

Some of that stuff really is one step closer to photo-realism

I know you said somthing about the AA not working fully, but you could cut yourself on those straight lines in there. Other than that it looks alright. Cant wait to try it.

Nice review.

I have always been a big fan of the Rainbow Six games. More realism, and the AI has always been good....none of that guns blazing stuff works for long!

This is the one game I have been anticipating more than any other for quite some time. It looks stunning, and you say it surpases fear in the eye candy dept....WOW.

Thanks for helping to justify the cost of Crossfire

Look at the post holding up the traffic lights. It's subtle enough, but I don't think the gameplay will be fast enough for it to not be that noticible when playing. Looking at the full-res screenies helps too, if you were just looking at the thumbnails.

Can you smell that. sniff.. sniff

I smell Fan Boys.

BF2 can be a good game once you have tweaked it and running the right video card. Dont be runnin a 6600GT and expect BF2 work fine in MP on 1200x1024.

I don't think those screenshots look that great. I wouldn't say they beat Source or FEAR, at least.

Because of the way that Ghost Recon has been developed, the game doesn't support antialiasing at all, as far as I know. At least, that was what I was told in a meeting I had with a DevRel guy the other day.

Is it just me, or do the textures in those screenshots look really low-res? The game's graphical aspect seems to have taken a sudden dip.

I agree, especially the roads in that second picture (I think). It really doesn't look that great, plus I don't like the over-the-shoulder style shooters anyway (I'm a PC gamer though, so it doesn't matter).

If there is a demo anytime though I'll probably take a look.

As far as I know, the game has HDR on the Xbox and PC, but only AA on the Xbox.
