XFX Geforce 7800GTX 256mB DDR3 Advice

Hi All,

I have a shuttle XPC board in a hoojum cubit 5 case. I only have one PCI E slot so I need a graphics card that will fit in a single slot and most of the new high end cards take two slots.

I am in the UK so I looked at the XFX Geforce 7800GTX but there are 3 part numbers for this card and I dont know the diffrence between the 3 but all the specs look the same?

The part numbers are:

PV-T70F-UDF7
PV-T70F-UDER
PV-T70F-UDFR

What are the diffrences for each for these cards? They are all diffrent prices as well. I am looking at buying it from ebuyer in the UK.

I like the XFX Geforce 7800GTX and I can use it in linux. I also looked at BFG tech but never used BFG but had lots of XFX cards in the past,

Thanks,

Adam

Well the UDF7 has a core clock of 450Mhz while the UDER is the 'eXtreme' version with a 475Mhz core, cant really find anything about the third part number though.

Have you considered a 7900GT? Should be cheaper with equal or better performance, and runs cooler as it's based on a smaller manufacturing process. Would probably be better suited for the Cubit than a 7800.
