It's a great article and idea and everything, and I understand why each website wants to host their own content (more traffic/readers)
But I don't like the layout of the penstarsys website, it makes my eyes hurt and is very hard to read. SOrry, I'm in a bitching mood at the moment. |

Good article, Hopefully will help me decide on what GFX to get for a temp thing untill I build a proper system.
I agree with DougEdey about the layout of thier site. One of the main reasons Bit is better is the layout. I must have missed a few articles during the time I had no internet, as I thought all X-fire cards no longer used the dongle thing. By any chance does the rendering chip on the master cards boast any performance gains over SLI, due to taking any load off the GPU? If so how much?

I like the idea of collaboration for this article. Getting a few big guns together is a great idea for bigger reviews. Will we be seeing more like this in the future? Or is this a one-off?

Interesting idea.
Although, I hate you for wanting me to spend more money, I only have £2.92 in the bank.

How far away would you say a 512 bit memory interface is for Vid cards?

Great article, is it not Guru3D who will be concluding the entire thing though? You wrote that NeoSeeker was doing that.

its going to be an interesting article
however, as you have kind of pointed out in the article, a long publication like this is kind of flawed, as by the time you've spent 3 months (wasn't it something like that ?) doing all this, prices and hardware have changed, so what was bleeding edge or whatever at the time, may now only be high end stuff Still I'm interested in this, I've never really thought multi GPU was worth the money (or hassle due to profiles) |

The spec for the middle $2000 system matches mine very closely, same mobo, same cpu, same ram spec. So this will make interesting reading. The trouble is my system cost >£2000 and some of the kit is now getting old as I bought the parts separately as they came out, I have two 7800GTs as the 7900GTs weren't out at the time. This will make a large difference I guess.
The key here, never buy anything expecting it to stay current.

Reading all of that made me jealous. If I could have $500 US for a system I'd be happy.
Looking forward to updates!!

I was wondering about the article that was meant to appear on Friday at Bjorn3D? It apparently isn't there...
Anything you can tell us about it? Or is it a problem at their end?

Good articles! It should clear up a few questions that regularly get asked in the forums.

Overall, it is a good article, however there are a few things like
Grammer Page 7 The AN8 32X got 2 more USB-ports Spelling Page 8 not only in CMOs better fitering ccircuit while the memory must runt at 2T These are just little things, and they sometimes happen here, but it gets pointed out and changed, especially if the article has been up that long. Wouldn't get basic mistakes like those on Bit, another reason I prefer Bit-tech.
