Help needed...
Hey guys I just got back and found out some good and some bad news.
Good news was that my mod was featured in the bit-tech project log update. I couldn't be more pleased about that Thank you all for your great support and interest towards my project. Then the bad news, as some of you might have noticed my bandwidth was exceeded today. There was a notice e-mail sent to me from photobucket, but I only got to read it today. I'm really sorry about the situation, but the problem is that I could update to pro, but I don't own a creditcard. That's bad. Yahooadam suggested that I could use Imageshack FFS, I'll have to look into that. One way or the other the pics will be up as soon as possible. Before I'll start looking for another place to host my images, I'll answer some questions: @Tman The acrylic I'm using is a bunch of scrap pieces left over from my dads workplace (he worked in an advertising company, windowdressing and such). One thing I do know is that I asked what a piece of green acrylic would cost and the answer was that you can only order full-size pieces (about 2m x 3m) which is huge and it would cost about 220€. This is in Finland though and since I don't know where you live it is even harder to say. @hydro_electric_655 and modsquad Thanks for the ideas, I really like the idea of using an alarmclock digital display in the hole, I'll have to look into that. @PIE_UK I really think that your girlfriend wouldn't like the amount of money I've put into this already and certainly not the time spent on modding it I actually don't know the precise cost cause I'm swapping parts and buying just something new. It is too much though, that much I do know @stevehp I think that the Seasonic PSU is better than the Cooltek one, but as I said earlier there were some issues that made me choose the Cooltek instead of the Seasonic. Well see how this goes and if I'm not happy, maybe then I'll update to Seasonic ![]() For the picture issue, the truth be told, I didn't expect this thing to be so popular, I thought that 10Gb/month would be more than enough for this thing, but once in my life I'm actually pleased that I was wrong Hopefully I can get the pics up by the end of the day today. Janne

Help the man out send him $25 in a paypal account for him to upgrade to photobucket pro so he doesn't have to re-upload a bigillion pics.
Damn for us modders pro is the way to go. Host unlimited pics under 5Gb's make multiple accounts too. But cool on making it on the front page they even featured a pic of yours there. And yes you do look into that alarm clock lcd unit.

Lol, there's actually no need, the problem is almost solved
I'm probably registering with www.1G.fi, which is here in Finland. I'll just have to look into it a bit more, but it's looking pretty good. The only problem is that I still have to upload all the pics in there and then edit all the links. That's not going to be fun, but what can you do ![]() The good thing about 1G is that I can use my netbank to pay for it, I don't need a credit card or paypal account Hopefully everything goes well... Janne

Ok, guys, I'm back on track. I just ordered the www.1G.fi service which has actually 2Gb of space and bandwidth limit of 100Gb/month, now it shouldn't run out
Now all I have to do is to upload all the pics again and change all the links, that's going to take a while, but I'll do my best to have the pics up and running today. Janne

Ok, some of the pics are back, could someone check if they work for me. Page 6 the last three pics about the motherboard plate vinyl. So if someone could be so kind and test if they work and report about it here, I'd be grateful

Thanks ShadowWings, that's what I needed to hear, lol. Page 6 is up again, moving on to page 5... It's a good thing that this thread isn't as long as say modsquads, changing links isn't as fun as you'd think

Pheew, only 2 pages left, boy this is not cool. Though something good also, it's a real pleasure to work with a decent FTP-client instead of that pesky photobucket upload page which doesn't work quite as well as you could hope. Well, back to changing links...
Wow, I got promoted to a modder a few posts ago, cool Janne

Hey Darkened,
Great Casemod uv got going i am interested in that case you have and wanted to do some mods and have been following to see whether it would be fairly easy to mod and such, or a serious pain in the neck, Dont know whether it has been suggested or not, but i think a replaced front bezel for the akasa fan contoller in Uv orange plexi, cut and drilled etc using original clear as template would look pretty awesome, and maybe a stealth cover in orange plexi for the drives? |

All the pics are up again...
Hey alexdcd. The case itself isn't so bad as modding goes, since it's all aluminium, it's fairly easy to work with. The size can be a problem though, it's not a very big case so depending on what you want to put in it, it can be a bit of a problem.
For the front bezel, check page 4 (i think), the pics are up again and from there you might find something to do with your suggestion ![]() Janne
