Browzard is not a bad browser. Its like the first version of Firefox were you can run it off a floppy with no installtion needed.
The browser also kinda looks like Vista the way the buttons in the top right corner are designed.

Yeah, all you need to do is clear your cache and the like and no one's any the wiser as to where you've been.

Also, with this browser obviously targetting people who frequent sites containg 'questionable' content, and said sites almost always being riddled with spyware, adware, pop-ups viruses and all the other nasties the IE is so good at letting in, how good is this browser's protection??

In all likelyhood it won't be useful for the likes of us, because as said above, it's just a matter of security/privacy settings.

These "hide my surfing" browsers and utilities are pointless. In a corporate environment there is usually a Proxy server that you have to go through to get to the web. It logs every page you go to. The router has cached info on your IP/MAC. The site(s) you go to have logs on your address and the data you submit (forms, searches, etc.) get stashed in a database somewhere. All you're acheiving with these apps or utilties is allowing the casual observer sitting at your machine to not see where you've been. Anyone with half a clue and/or a supeona or two (at least in the US) can recreate your surfing history.

Pointless, as pointed out already.
Another way to hide this stuff for a home computer is CCleaner. No one else uses my personal home computer (because I have renters the login is locked anyway) but I use this to get rid of temp files, cookies, etc. (especially before a defrag).

Change a couple of settings on FF and its the same
By the way "portable FireFox" (Google) can fill in the portability gap, so really, i see absolutely no point in this app Plus, it doesn't stop firewalls logging your activity (which is how just about every company does it) |

Safari --> Private Browsing
Firefox --> Distrust extension seem to do the job nicely. |

Just spotted that this morning, saying that it has adware installed in it. Perhaps it would be best to stay away from this one. |

Damn, I was trying it out yesterday too. Didn't use the search bar though so hopefully it's alright. This PC is being reformatted this month anyway...

This one's going on the USB stick. And I'll twiddle my thumbs for the OSX version (though when I'm being really paranoid, I'll run this in a clean-state VM of XP, where the entire VM doesn't save any changes) erm... well, nevermind, reading the rest of the thread. Maybe I'll keep a VM of a Windows 3.11 install handy Live CDs aren't always an option.
