    It would be Sony that forces it to close wouldn't it!

    I've only ordered from them once in the past, but always kept them in mind for various games and accessories.

    EDIT: It's ironic that many of Sony's employees used Lik-Sang too...

    That is shocking, I've ordered several a few things from them in the past, and the service has always been excellent. It was only last month that they mentioned in an email that they were looking to take on more staff.

    Sony will probably face a huge backlash over this.

    R.I.P. Lik-Sang, you will be missed :(.

    thats really shocking. ive considered liksang to be at the forefront of importing for years. just look at their catalogue and then the prices i'd like to see anyone beat them


    i call bullcrap on that.. they are protecting their pockets. if you buy an imported system you know the risks

    Well folks, you have to understand, global markets are only allowed if you're a big company. Globalisation isn't for the consumer, that just wouldn't do!

    I'm not someone who's traditionally considered myself anti-globalisation, but with stuff like this happening, it's hard not to be really.

    QFT. I was seriously contemplating getting another PS2 just to get Guitar Heor and Guitar Hero 2, but I think I'll just wait for the 360 version to come out now.

    I can't think of anything decent to write to my MP atm, but if anyone can come up with anything decent, post it, and people could re-write the same message in their own words and send it onto their MP. The High Court of London really made the wrong verdict here.

    What utter tripe. Differences in electricity supplies? Almost all adapters these days are universal 110-240V! You could effectively cut the US plug off the end and stick a UK one on! Or buy a stepdown transformer if you're that bothered.

    spec, the UK courts didn't shut down Lik-Sang, the massive amount of lawsuits (Sony filed a lawsuit in every UK country against LS) essentially bled LS dry due to high lawyer fees.

    Lik sang didn't goto court though did they?

    Maybe they have to return all the revenue from sales of Sony PSP products.

Regardless of what killed Lik-Sang, something very bad has been ruled here. We've effectively been forced to pay whatever price companies decide, when they can go elsewhere to make their warez in places like china for hardly any cash.

    This is a ridiculous ruling and people should definatey be complaining to MP's. I just can't think of specifically what to write :(
