I spent a surprisingly long time looking for the button on amd/ati's page. Then I thought you meant the close button. Then i went to leave a message here and discovered what you meant...

Anyway, it does look weird. I wonder what nVida think? I am also interested to see what becomes of this merger.

But the site looks bad now.

Hrm, you really confused me there with that button. I thought you meant on the ATI site, and was clicking on the search button.
Then I was about to PM somebody about the lack of discussion link.
I like the old link

Don't like the new site, much preferred the old one.

i agree on the button, for the past few news articles i have been befuddled, the old way was better.

How was the old way better? It was just a smaller font and no button. I like the changes made in that department, and I think they make things way simpler for newbs who aren't used to knowing where to look for a discuss this article type link.

i guess, it wasnt small font, it was blue and at the end of the article, therefore more noticable.

I was confused for a sec, then I saw the link.

Note that habit was the only reason why I was confused... the link is a good idea!

EDIT:
It would be useful if the link were duplicated at the bottom, though, that way I wouldn't have to scroll up again.

AMD has fully made it clear to the world now it has taken over ATi and not just merged.

it will be interesting to see what difference gpu integration will give, thinking of that AMD X4 dual cpu+gfx+ppu!
