M4RTIN will become famous soon enough
personally i dont see the point for such cards. if you want a low power card for a media centre a standard x1300 is cheaper. plus it may well be low profile but it ruins that by being so bloody wide

it's for people who don't have AGP or PCI-Express slots (think Dell users) and want to move away from integrated graphics.

There's obviously a market for it, otherwise they wouldn't sell it. Couldn't you potentially fill up all PCI slots with one of these?

Yep, I havent made this mistake ever but I know plenty who have in the past. They are still stuck with a dell but it makes their life a little easier.

Don't forget it's helpful if you're moving to a triple monitor setup on you don't have 2 PCI-e slots free - or AGP...

Or if you want a card to drive a PS1 Screen mod and you don't want to risk blowing the G80 via excellent soldering skills

Bit of a shame that they don't make a thin version, though. I mean really, how much heat can that core output.

now, if you can find a modern(or older) board with 6 PCI, 1AGP, and use these or the visionteks - massively montiplayer workstations ensue!

A little bit of creativity goes a long way.
