This is why I post a sketch before starting to mod. Thanks Duste I don't know if it is possible to do so by hand, but I will try to round the edge.

Coolermaster helped me out with a mobotray from a damaged case. Thanks Ron from Coolermaster

Here it is

some damage, but nothing serious that can't be fixed. It's a removable tray and I will remove some parts anyway. This tray saves me quite some time.

In the picture below you can see the slight damage, but I will remove this part.

This original mesh will be cut out.

It needs some cleaning up

I'm not finished filing the edges yet, but this is the tray with everything that's not needed removed.

With a small modification the tray fits perfectly in my home made aluminium frame.

Oooh, nice fix-up job on the motherboard tray. Are you going to drill some holes in it above the PCI slots for ventilation? Could be a nice personal touch to the tray.

I've almost forgotten about this, how about it Franklin, any news?

I'm hoping this silence means that you are arming yourself to make the mother of all updates on this thing

Hopefully we'll hear from you soon.

Hey Franklin

I hope you enjoy your stay here in Sydney.

Was quite an electrical storm today.

Hey, do you know where one could get some of those aluminum frame pieces and corner inserts here in the US?

Love the project by the way, can't wait to see it start coming together!

I'm back from my holidays and I think this was a good reason to stop working on a casemod for a while

Today I received some parts from www.freezinghardware.nl , a sponsor of my projekt

A Laing EcoCirc D4basic-30/830NX pump.

and two Black Ice GT Stealth 240 radiators

Right now I'm working on the final plans for the harddisk container. I will be using these things.

Hope to start working on the box this weekend.

Sweet! Nice holiday you had! *ENVY*

Can you disclose some info on those shocks? They look like they are from a rc-car or something. A size comparison would be nice =)
Really cool idea, looking forward to the following posts!

@ ottzen: they are from a rc-car. I just ordered them so I can't give you the size now, but it's about 8 cm. long.
As soon as I received them from the webshop I will give you the details. I have never seen someone using these rc schockabsorbers before (I can be wrong)

@ [<x>] Kiyusoma: I will pm you about them.
