I was going to suggest a Bit-Tech podcast after hearing Will Harris with Leo Laporte and the Twits.

Listening to it now, nice to hear Will after that Cranky Geeks appearance.
Could do with an introduction theme tune me thinks...

EDIT:

Is it me, or does Tim sound like that bloke from the Office?

Don't give up your day jobs :P I jest! I jest! I think a bit-tech podcast could be quite good, but a tighter structure is definitely needed. In particular I'd like to hear concise versions of the week's key news headlines and quick summaries of reviewed hardware. It'd also be nice if Tim could throw in summarized accounts of the latest technologies as I really don't have time to read everything that's published on the site, yet I like to keep up with hardware to an enthusiast level. Do it!

I'm surprised Gears didn't get chosen as one of the best games of the year on console. The co-op really makes it fantastic. Obviously yes its rinse and repeat action, move -> kill -> move -> kill etc however, I think one of the reasons though for this is that the game really is a large tech demo for the Unreal 3 engine.
It's clearly fun to play though with a good story and I cannot wait for more of the same if they develop episodic content or GoW 2.
In all fairness though if I were to rate it I would probably give it an 8.5

In all fairness as interesting as the podcast is/was I can't help but feel it was way too long. After the bit about games I started skipping until I heard something vaguely interesting.
Obviously though if it continues as a regular Bit feature I'm sure it will gain more structure and become more to the point

::edit::
Its Low-co Row-co not lock-o rock-o surely?
