I can't understand why you've reviewed this board so long after the release?
You even reviewed the Asus Striker Extream before this one, claiming that IT had new, never seen before bits when it was released after this one. SUrely you knew this was the second board with those goodies?

The fact both boards are almost identical, bar the CPU & Chipsets, even down to the LEDs, On Board Switches and Rear View Display.

Any chance you could get a review of Asus Commando the Third Board in the RoP Series?

True, it has been sitting in our for some 3 months before we started it in late November but then the first board we got had problems with stress testing and Asus just sent us a replacement this week. In the same package as the replacement we got the Commando and the P5N-E which we will be looking at shortly, but we don't want to do a dozen Asus mobo reviews in a row we want to give you guys some variety.

The article on the Striker Extreme was a 'first look / preview'

In which case, I wish to apologise if my tone seemed misplaced.

The odd little note at the start of the article wouldn't have gone amiss though!

I look forward to the Commando review, just to see whether it's a better board, or just a rehash & money grabber!

This looks like a board I could actually get excited about, but by the time I finally give up my Tyan this thing will be ancinet history. The heatpipe arraingement looks good, even if it doesn't work that great, and it finally gives a good reason for a window in a case.

Well Asus are commited to their new RoG range, so something else will come out in the next few months for AM2.

Yep, but in a few months something new will be out and the Crosshair will be old :P Like everything in tech, a month is a year.

In my opinion Crosshair Motherboard is just a rip off! ASUS M2N32-SLI is just as good, dosen't looks as cool for some people. But It is a lot cheaper.

The next Asus Mobo for AMD (Socket 1207FX) is L1N64-SLI WS. I am not sure if it's out or not. But i have seen it on the websites like Newegg.com. And the other thing, Is Socket L (Socket 1207FX) and Socket F (Socket 1207) the samething? Or dose Socket F CPU fit into Socket L Mobo?
