Why not? I own a domain to match.

Disabling startup scripts on domain login

Anyone know if it's possible? I know that they're all there to try and protect their network, but it makes a huge mess of things on my computer. Right now, I'm just connecting through a WinXP Virtual Machine (via Parallels on my MBP) so it doesn't screw up the actual computer, but the login scripts make startup take forever and make all sorts of stupid changes that shouldn't need to take place.

All I really want to be able to log in for is access to the network drive (which I can only access through their web portal, and I can only get one file at a time from it, which is a huge PITA), but it refuses to let me log in through mounting a network drive unless I'm actually a member of the domain.

If it's not possible, no big deal, as it seems to work sufficiently as-is. But if anyone knows a way, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks

i assume windows domain etc.

In which case no, as the whole idea is to lock down and perform tasks on the clients end computer without them interfering etc. The only way to stop it would be to ask your administrator for the network.

Figured that would be the case. Yes, it's an all-Windows setup (Babson=MS fanboi). Well, I guess that's the beauty of just cloning a virtual machine instead of having it screw up the system I actually use regularly.
